A Galeria

“A Galeria” is a space located in the Jewish quarter, next to the National Palace, that was chosen for the first reading of the “Lusíadas,” in which Camões celebrated the overseas feats of the Portuguese.
It was in remembrance of that time and of the ties that bind us to Africa and to India that it was decided to provide the art lovers that visit the gallery, with representative pieces of African and Indian art, in addition to works by Portuguese artists.
